DHL promoting GoHelp with Jaago Foundation

DHL, the world's leading logistics company, held its annual Volunteer Day event on Sunday with Jaago Foundation, which is in line with the company's GoHelp initiative. DHL selected Jaago Foundation to be their partner this year as it provides free-of-charge international standard education to underprivileged children and is internationally recognized for its efforts.
The GoHelp initiative is one of DHL's three Corporate Responsibility programs - GoTeach (championing education), GoGreen (protecting the environment) and GoHelp (delivering help after natural disasters). This year, under the GoHelp initiative, 80 students from Grade 1 of Jaago Foundation joined DHL employees in outdoor activities at the Wonderland Park, located in Gulshan 2. Over 50 volunteers from DHL shared inspirational stories with the children and participated in various fun activities at the park including a drawing competition. DHL also donated school bags and other essential educational accessories to the students of Jaago Foundation.
Desmond Quiah, Country Manager, DHL Express Bangladesh said, "The act of giving rejuvenates us and motivates us work harder in making the GoHelp initiative a success for years to come. DHL has pledged support for such causes through our "Living Responsibility" program and we will continue to give back to our community."
Ramesh Natarajan, Vice President, Rest of South Asia, DHL Express was also present during the event.
