To Defending Black Rules of Proposed Broadcasting Law recently seminar held at National Press Club, Dacca, Bangladesh

Proposed broadcasting policy will break the press freedom and media’s open expression. Naturally, independency of Mass Media will be cancelled. So, such “Black Law” should be protested, any how.

Yesterday (Wed) seminar held at National Press Club, Dacca, Bangladesh on “Broadcasting Policy and Rights of Information”. Many participants expressed such opinion. This seminar held at VIP lounge in National Press Club.
In the seminar former advisor of ‘Caretaker Government’ Dr Akbar Ali Khan expressed that controlling of Press & Media is not the schedule of a government. The government should be transparent on rights for information and make assure to autonomous the National Radio (Bangladesh Betar) and National Television (BTV), which would be public reflex ion with free. He said broadcasting control policy should be as usual law and by the court (Bangladesh Press Council) of the country. Any bureaucracy control is never acceptable. Senior journalist ABM Musa said, proposed concerned rule/policy if implemented, then News and Talkshow broadcasting will be dictated and censored. Thus here would be no ethics without producing older cinemas. Attacks come on the freedom of mass media when a government becomes totally failure and hopeless. Mr. Riazuddin Ahmed, Editor of the ‘News Today’ said none can stop the Press Freedom, in other hand can be said the made committee- authority becomes hung themselves. But journalists are always free to express their speech without fear as ‘Public Eye’. In the seminar Mr. Kamaludding Sobuj, President of National Press Club chaired in that seminar. Their also exchanged opinions on concerns matters.
