Residents of Talugorai, Biramchar, Moholulsunam, Jagannathpur, Shyampur, Borochar and Nijgaon villages sided with the biscuit company agent while residents of Nishapot, Korkorhati, Dhakijangal, Morra and Kazirgaon villages favoured Daksu, a transport workers’ organisation.
