EMPOWERING & TASKS INCREASEMENT OF DEPUTY COMMISSIONERS, A RIGHT DECISION, TAKE BY THE GOVT. OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF BANGLADESH.


A time demanding events to empowered & increasing of tasks sectors for the Deputy Commissioners , a right and hopeful decision taken by the government. Another 25 tasks added & granted for the Deputy Commissioners. Before its number was 35 only. Last Sunday, at the Secretariat of Minister’s Council Division a meeting held for development of administration sectors. In that meeting 62 tasks distributed and granted to be proposed for approval to the Secretariat of Prime Minister. Source said after granted the proposal by the PM offer of tasks are as follows: Committed Programs reminding announced by the PM, Passport, Liberation War concerns, Tourism concerns, Women & Children concerns, Law and Administration implementation & empowering, Monitoring of Market’s Price, Rights for the Consumers, Fisheries & Livestock Resources, Religious concerns, Local Industrialization, NGO’s concerns, Fine Arts, Public Health, District wise Government’s Residences concerns, Achieving the Development Goals, Citizen Charters, Climate Changes and balancing Sound of the Environmental and Forestry, and others.

Source added to success the commitments by the PM, an individual cell would be organized by the Deputy Commissioners which would have an effective roles, where they would proceed reminders & advice to the Secretariat of PM or concerned Ministries. Their monitored reports also be produced to the PM’s Secretariat, the commitments announced by the PM. It’s a right decision taken by the Government of Bangladesh which would able to continue vital roles for the country and nation.

After establishments of new Passport office in another 33 district where one Assistant Director and another eight staffs would serve the concerned tasks..

Newly Passport Offices are: Barguna, Vala, Pirazpur, Zhalkati, Chuadanga, Meherpur, Narail, Zhinaidaha, Magura, Bagherhatt, Satkhira, Lalmanirhatt, Neelfamari, Khagrasari, Laxmipur, Sunamganj, Natar, Noagaon, Chapai Nababganj, Jaipurhatt, Panchaghar, Thakurgaon, Kurigram, Gaibandha, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Jamalpur, Sherpur, Netrakuna, Sariatpur, Madaripur, Razbari, and Bandarban.
